The Dunfermline Art Club held a "Come And Paint" day for members on the 8th of March 2008 and was an open day, held in celebration of the Clubs 125th Anniversary.

The event was to paint our interpretation of a Dunfermlines "Gala Day" by Ken Spowart, a member of the Club in the past. This painting was gifted to the Dunfermline Art Club and later given to The Dunfermline Museum and was a worthwhile subject to inspire a "Rolf Harris" type of event where thirty members worked on 12" x 12" canvases to achieve a 6' x 5' painting when joined together.
