The George Aitken Award 2023 – Winner

The George Aitken Award was introduced during our recent Winter Exhibition in the Kingsgate Gallery where we invited the public to vote for their favourite of the 135 paintings featured in the exhibition. The award is so named in honour of the late George Aitken, an acclaimed accomplished artist and former President of the club.

Over 300 votes were cast and the winner of the inaugural award with 29 votes was Lesley Inglis for her excellent painting “Glencoe”. Many congratulations Lesley.
