The Club hosted a “Painting from Memory” demonstration last Tuesday 23rd April by George Birrell. Here is an excerpt from Tony Felton’s Facebbook review together with photographs from Annette Burgess. – “It was lovely to welcome artist George Birrell to the club on Tuesday to give us his demo of ‘Painting from Memory’.
Working in acrylics with a vast array of knives, scrapers, credit cards and even brushes, we were treated to a lively impression of (perhaps) a coastal village. The members were attentive and appreciative.”
