Colin Joyce painting on show at Patchings Festival
Readers of The Artist and Leisure Painter magazines will be familiar with the annual Patchings Art Festival. This year, a marvellous work in oil titled “Towards the Harbour, Essaouira” by club member and watercolour tutor Colin Joyce has been accepted as an exhibit in The Artist Magazine category at this prestigious event. Painting for 133 Years
This week, (22nd March), marked 133 years since the creation of Dunfermline Art Club. Initially formed as Dunfermline Fine Art Association, the club has been in continuous existence since 22nd March 1883. There is a little bit more about this under the website “History” tab.
