Members Exhibit at Hopetoun House
Hopetoun House at South Queensferry is the venue for an Easter Exhibition which features the work of club members Colin Joyce and Ken Young. The exhibition is open between the hours of 11am and 4.30pm from 3rd through 12th April.
Painting for 132 Years
This Sunday, 22nd March, marks 132 years since the creation of Dunfermline Art Club. Initially known as Dunfermline Fine Art Association, the club has been in continuous existence since 22nd March 1883. There is a little bit more about this under the site “History” tab.
Kingsgate Gallery – Change of Exhibits
The changeover of work on display in the Club Gallery in the Kingsgate Centre was completed this week and opened to the public yesterday (12th March). Pastel Workshop, 7 March
A group of club members attended a Pastel Workshop at the Duchally Hotel in Auchterarder last Saturday hosted by prominent artist and author Margaret Evans. The club frequently attends such events which are co-ordinated via Jim McLure’s Monday Pastel Group. Pic above shows a couple of quick demo sketches done by Margaret on the day.
