Following on from his previous workshop, Chris Amos has agreed to provide a second pastels workshop, on Saturday 23rd March (10.00 till 4.00), this time covering two topics: (1) a revisiting of the best way to imitate animal fur, and (2) a sunset scene. The latter will be done in a looser, freer style than was the case last time, with Chris adapting methods borrowed from the renowned Scottish pastellist, Margaret Evans. Chris plans to demonstrate his techniques to begin with, and will then help participants to work on their own painting. The workshop will be limited to 12 members. Unfortunately, due to Fife Council charging for the use of the Studio on a Saturday, the fee per member will be £15 this time (payable in advance to Ken Young or Lesley Inglis.
