Berrylaw Perspective Exhibition was curated by Nicola Atkinson of Beautiful Materials Design Studio and Alan Grieve of Workspace Dunfermline. This centered on the work of celebrated 19th century Dunfermline artist Andrew Blair. Details of the project can be viewed here https://www.carnegiebirthplace.com/events/berrylaw-perspective
Part of the initiative was to invite the public to be inspired by Andrew Blair’s 1860 painting ‘Dunfermline from the North-West’ and create their own landscape artwork in nature from the perspective of Berrylaw Hill Dunfermline. You can now see all 50 artworks submitted by these artists (some of whom are Dunfermline Art Club Members) in the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum daily from 21 June to 25 July (11 until 3.20pm). There will be a private viewing of the exhibition for those who submitted work on Saturday 19th June. Application details can be found here:- https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/berrylaw-perspective-private-view-tickets-158376804285
The exhibition is organised by the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum in association with Eventbrite.co.uk
